The franchise rights to the USL East Bay Division II Men’s Professional Soccer expansion team are owned by Mark Hall, Hall Sports Ventures.
Mr. Hall is a real estate-oriented entrepreneur based in Northern California. He is President and CEO of Hall Equities Group (HEG) a private, full service real estate investment, development and property management company operating a nationwide portfolio of
varied commercial properties, apartment buildings and hotels, as well as a variety of sports-focused businesses. Hall is deeply involved in soccer and this USL Expansion Franchise is a natural step forward as a part of the Hall Sports Ventures Group within the COPA Innovation Laboratories (CIL) business line. COPA Innovation Laboratories is involved in the research, development and manufacturing of advanced sports training tools, creating large scale athletic talent assessment data and operating sports training centers with an emphasis on soccer. CIL owns the state of the art 100,000 sq. ft. soccer training studio, COPA Soccer Training Center, now under construction in Walnut Creek, which is a part of the 250,000 sq ft. Shadelands SportsMall project.
He is a fifth generation native Californian and a thirty-year resident of the East Bay and Gordon Valley, CA.
